As an Hourly General Manager, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant when the senior or general manager is not present. Responsibilities:

• Lead by example and work alongside crew members to teach and mentor them.
• Serve as the acting leader for the restaurant in the absence of the Senior/General Manager.
• Help drive sales by maintaining superior quality, service, and cleanliness while focusing on profit goals.
• Participate in the interviewing and hiring process to build a qualified team that meets company and regulatory standards.
• Create staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all operational needs.
• Manage and control labor costs to meet company targets.
• Assist in training and development of the crew under the guidance of the Senior/General Manager.
• Foster a positive and collaborative working relationship with the management team and crew.
• Provide constructive coaching and, when necessary, counseling and discipline.
• Step in and assist with crew member duties as needed.
• Conduct regular crew and management meetings to review operational procedures, promotions, safety, and security.
• Maintain sufficient stock of all necessary products and supplies.
• Manage inventory to meet company food cost variance standards.
• Complete and maintain all required reports and records in compliance with company and government regulations.
• Ensure all building and equipment maintenance is performed according to proper operating and cleaning procedures.
• Responsible for all cash handling and ensuring adherence to established cash procedures.
• Ensure your personal appearance consistently meets company standards and projects a professional image.
• Adhere to all HR, sanitation, safety, and security policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant workplace for everyone.
