Hourly Shift Leader

Description:

As an Hourly Shift Leader, you'll be a key player in the daily operations of a fast-paced restaurant environment. Working closely with the management team, you'll help ensure a smooth, efficient shift by leading your crew and upholding the highest standards of quality, service, and cleanliness. You'll play a vital role in training and developing team members while also managing daily tasks like cash handling, inventory control, and customer service. Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to handle the physical demands of a restaurant role, including standing for long periods and lifting
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and train a team
• At least 1 year of experience in a shift management or leadership role
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening
• A valid driver's license is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Master the essential functions of a Shift Leader to confidently manage the restaurant during the absence of the Senior or General Manager
• Contribute to sales growth by upholding company standards for quality, service, and cleanliness, while also focusing on profitability and operational goals
• Lead shifts and ensure all company standards are consistently met
• Support the management team by training and developing crew members
• Cultivate a cooperative and positive working relationship with all crew and management staff
• Assist with crew member duties as necessary to ensure smooth operations
• Conduct pre-shift meetings to review operational procedures, promotions, safety, and training
• Effectively manage labor costs to meet company targets
• Maintain inventory control in accordance with company standards
• Complete and maintain reports and records as required by company, state, and federal regulations
• Ensure the proper operation, cleaning, and preventative maintenance of all building equipment
• Take full responsibility for all cash handling during your shift, including preparing bank deposits
• Ensure all cash handling procedures are followed with precision
• Maintain a professional appearance that meets company standards at all times
• Uphold and enforce all HR, sanitation, safety, and security policies to ensure a safe and compliant environment for everyone
• Consistently embody the company's vision and values, perform other assigned tasks, and represent the organization with professionalism in all aspects of your performance
