Role and Responsibilities:

Within the role of a Cash Desk Attendant, your duties will include customer interaction, product preparation, and contributing to the smooth operation of the store. • Operate all store machinery with safety and effectiveness in mind.
• Distribute goods received in delivery spots to allocated storage places, workstations, and chilling compartments.
• Meet the established criteria of the company when making food products.
• Handle telephone and in-person orders with precision and attention to detail.
• Conduct an inventory assessment and finalize the associated paperwork.
• Regularly clean equipment and the facility daily.
• Abide by the orientation and on-the-job training protocols as specified.
• Interpret and provide precise written guidance.
• Foster open and transparent communication with customers and team members to streamline the order processing procedure.
• Engage in elementary math activities, including the accurate calculation and distribution of change.
• Record orders meticulously using a computer or touch screen device.
• Take precautions when managing hot surfaces, sharp tools, or operating machinery.
• Support in ensuring a hygienic and systematic workspace.

Mandatory Skills and Background:

• To be eligible, one must be no younger than 18 years old.
• Proficiency in effectively conveying information to both customers and colleagues.
• Core math capabilities and the aptitude to give back precise change.
• Precise motor coordination plays a vital role in accurately and efficiently completing tasks.
• Coordination between hand dexterity and visual acuity for tasks related to food handling and tool manipulation.
• Ability to perform solo or within a team under stress while ensuring adherence to quality control protocols.

Physical Requirements:

• Most activities involve standing upright, with intermittent short walks covering short distances.
• Carrying and delivering heavy product loads up to 50 pounds utilizing a hand truck.
• Handling products like substantial cans, pizza sauce in large quantities (up to 30 pounds), and batches of pizza dough (approximately 12 pounds each).
• Employing 7.5 lbs of force to push and pull trays on dollies for transportation.
• Occasional ascents on stairs or ladders for upkeep tasks.
• Performing tasks that entail stooping, bending, crouching, squatting, and reaching on a regular basis.
• Regular activity of hands in food preparation and handling of tools like pizza paddles, blades, and boxes.

Work Conditions:

• The temperature conditions workers encounter span from 36°F in refrigerated sections to temperatures above 90°F in specific work environments.
• Intermittent outdoor work involving tasks such as removing rubbish.
• Exposure to food fragrances, cornmeal residue, heated surfaces, pointed edges, and operational mechanical features.
• Compact workspaces, including walk-in cooling facilities.
