Role and Responsibilities of Maintenance Mechanic:

As a Maintenance Mechanic for Legacy Restaurant Group, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment at our Wendy's restaurants. You will be organized, able to work independently and have experience with repairing a wide range of restaurant equipment, electrical systems, heating systems, HVAC/Refrigeration, plumbing and painting. Your technical expertise will ensure our restaurants maintain operational excellence and minimize equipment downtime. Key responsibilities include

• Perform diagnostic evaluations to troubleshoot and repair cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC systems, ensuring optimal functionality post-repairs.
• Provide maintenance and repair solutions for a range of commercial kitchen equipment, including ovens, grills, fryers, and related cooking appliances.
• Carry out preventive maintenance routines on all culinary tools to ensure operational efficiency and reduce malfunctions.
• Practice respect, courtesy, and professionalism when engaging with customers and employees.
• Ensure all service calls are addressed promptly upon assignment.
• Ensure that necessary parts are requested and paperwork is accurately completed in a timely manner.
• Participate in the on-call rotation plan to provide swift responses to critical equipment issues.
• Maintain the service vehicle in a clean and organized state, ensuring it is stocked with necessary tools and parts.
• Perform troubleshooting procedures on electrical systems to identify and fix problems.
• Resolve plumbing concerns that emerge in restaurant facilities.
• Conduct painting assignments and handle minor facility repairs as necessary.
• Complete tasks promptly by independently prioritizing and managing workload.
• Document the work done, parts utilized, and time spent on each task with precision.

Preferred Qualifications for Maintenance Mechanic:

• The preferred applicants should have accumulated a minimum of two years of practical experience in commercial HVAC and Refrigeration services.
• Proficiency in electrical, electronic, and mechanical competencies is highly valued.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• An up-to-date EPA Certification is the favored qualification.
• Acquired practical expertise in handling repairs for commercial kitchen equipment.
