Qualifications

• Previous experience in a dynamic restaurant or food service setting is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team-centric environment.

• Capability to meet the physical demands of the role, including prolonged standing, lifting, and carrying.
• Must possess flexibility in scheduling, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the meticulous cleanliness and organization of all kitchen and back-of-house areas, encompassing floors, walls, equipment, and preparation stations.
• Operate and maintain commercial dishwashing machinery with efficiency and adherence to safety guidelines, guaranteeing all dishware, glassware, and cutlery are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
• Aid in the proper handling, storage, and rotation of food inventory and supplies to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
• Support the culinary brigade by assisting with various preparatory duties as required, such as washing, peeling, and cutting produce.
• Manage the proper disposal of waste and recyclable materials in accordance with established environmental and operational procedures.
• Rigorously adhere to all operational, safety, and sanitation standards, company policies, and pertinent federal, state, and local regulations.
• Proactively identify and address any cleanliness or maintenance concerns in both the dining areas and guest restrooms.
• Foster a collaborative spirit with all team members to ensure seamless and efficient daily restaurant operations.
• Assist with receiving and organizing incoming deliveries, ensuring accurate storage and inventory management.
