Role and Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist guests with a warm, friendly, and attentive attitude to ensure a pleasant experience.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of menu items and effectively communicate product details to customers.
• Use a Point of Sale (POS) system or cash register to process orders accurately and handle payments, providing correct change when needed.
• Follow the Cash-In Procedure to record all financial transactions accurately during each shift.
• Prepare food items in accordance with established Subway recipes, quality standards, and procedures.
• Inspect ingredients and maintain sufficient stock levels in the sandwich preparation area throughout the day.
• Comply with food handling, hygiene, and sanitation protocols in all food preparation and cleaning tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas of the restaurant to uphold Subway's professional image.
• Adhere to quality benchmarks, recipes, and processes outlined in the Subway Operations Manual.
• Follow grooming and appearance standards as defined in the Subway Operations Manual.
• Complete assigned clerical and administrative tasks as required.
• Successfully fulfill the training requirements of the University of Subway program.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Education: Completion of or working toward a high school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior experience required; must demonstrate the ability to follow written and verbal instructions effectively.
• Ability to operate a POS system or cash register efficiently and accurately.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods; ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
