Senior Game Technician at Dave & Buster's. The Senior Game Technician role is key to maintaining our exciting and unique entertainment environment. As a top-level technical expert and guest service champion, you will be responsible for the advanced repair, maintenance, and upkeep of all arcade games, simulators, and complex technical equipment within the venue. You will also play a critical part in coaching and developing the Gaming Support Team, ensuring operational excellence and an outstanding experience for every guest.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Proven track record demonstrating excellent verbal communication skills for effective interaction with both patrons and fellow Team Members.
• Available to work flexible hours, including days, nights, and/or weekends, as the business requires.
• Consistently projects a positive, enthusiastic, and welcoming demeanor, including frequently smiling during all shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance for all entertainment equipment, including arcade games, attractions, and building technical systems.
• Ensure the gaming area (Midway) remains in optimal playing condition and is consistently presented in a clean, organized, and unobstructed manner.
• Provide exemplary Guest service by promptly assisting patrons with technical issues and inquiries, ensuring unparalleled fun and satisfaction.
• Proactively greet and engage Guests upon their entry into the Midway with a positive attitude.
• Effectively load, refill, and secure tickets in all redemption games, paying meticulous attention to inventory and security procedures for ticket storage.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all completed repairs, maintenance tasks, and component inventory.
• Serve as a mentor and resource for other Gaming Support/Midway Technicians, assisting in their training and technical development.
• Ensure merchandise in prize areas is properly stocked, visually appealingly displayed, and securely stored, conducting accurate inventory counts as needed.
• Perform routine daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance procedures on all equipment safely and efficiently, as directed by management.
• Promptly communicate any significant operational concerns or unusual matters to the immediate supervisor, suggesting corrective or alternative solutions.
• Assist management with general facility maintenance duties and organization within the technical work areas and storage rooms.
• Collaborate effectively with all Team Members and Managers to promote a cohesive, high-energy, and productive work atmosphere.
• Ensure every departing Guest receives a friendly farewell, confirming their satisfaction and extending an invitation for a return visit.
• Physical Demands: The role demands the ability to perform physical tasks necessary for the job's essential functions. This includes the ability to:
• Work shifts involving days, evenings, and/or weekends.
• Work on an extension ladder when necessary for repairs.
• Operate in a noisy, fast-paced environment with regular distractions.
• Stand and move around the facility for prolonged periods.
• Read and generate written notes and documentation.
• Safely lift and transport items weighing up to 30 pounds.
