Job duties include

  • Executing tasks and verifying that products and the customer experience are in line with the Chick-fil-A brand, culture, and the Operator's vision.
  • Prioritize efficiency in task completion to attain operational excellence and meet performance goals effectively.
  • Fulfilling Chick-fil-A requirements through the assembly, organization, and serving of goods at food stations.
  • Clearly convey your thoughts and ideas to fellow team members and those in authoritative roles.
  • Carry out tasks while standing for up to 5 hours.
  • Essential mathematical and measurement skills need to be mastered.
  • Ensure the restaurant is both clean and safe by regularly mopping, sweeping floors, disposing of trash, and maintaining equipment.
  • It is essential to always greet guests with kindness, even if you are in the kitchen.
  • Allocating goods unloaded from delivery trucks to the correct storage locations.
  • Aptitude for handling items of up to 45 pounds.

Requirements

  • Candidates need to meet the criterion of being 16 years or older at the time of hire
  • Eligibility for employment in the United States is a prerequisite

  • Proficient in working with different kitchen gear, including pots and pans, and adept at navigating shelves positioned at different heights
  • Essential skills encompass reading comprehension, written communication, fundamental math, and verbal interaction
  • Functions in a fast-paced, loud, and high-temperature environment
  • Requisite flexibility during shifts

Company Information

Chick-fil-A, Inc., Founder S. Truett Cathy started the business in 1946, when he and his brother, Ben, opened an Atlanta diner known as The Dwarf Grill (later renamed The Dwarf House ).
