Qualifications

• Prior experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team-oriented setting.
• Capable of following instructions and adhering to strict cleanliness and sanitation guidelines.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Minimum age 16 years.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and thoroughly wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans, ensuring they meet health and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, including sinks, dish machines, and storage racks.
• Assist with basic kitchen prep tasks as needed, such as peeling vegetables or stocking supplies.
• Dispose of trash and recycling properly and in a timely manner.
• Adhere to all operational, safety, and sanitation standards and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure a continuous flow of clean dishes.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to a supervisor immediately.
• Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment.
