Job Summary of Server Assistant:

This role helps support the restaurant team by assisting servers, bartenders, and hosts to ensure guests have a seamless and enjoyable dining experience. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, restocking supplies, and delivering friendly, attentive service throughout the dining area.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Server Assistant:

• Clear tables and assist servers with guest needs to maintain efficient service.
• Create a positive and welcoming environment by engaging with guests courteously.
• Deliver food and beverages to all areas of the restaurant during shifts.
• Provide beverage refills to guests as needed.
• Regularly inspect and clean restrooms to uphold hygiene standards.
• Restock bartender supplies including glasses, garnishes, ice, and beer.
• Replenish server supplies such as glasses, plates, ice, and silverware.
• Empty trash and complete assigned cleaning tasks in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Experience of Server Assistant:

• Basic reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stay active and mobile throughout the entire shift.
• Capable of lifting up to 15 pounds regularly and glass racks up to 25 pounds.
• Proficient in cleaning tasks, including wiping tables, booths, and floors.
• Possession or ability to obtain a valid Food Handlers Card prior to employment.
• In Oregon, ability to obtain a valid OLCC Card to serve alcohol within 30 days of hire.
• Must be at least 18 years old for evening shifts.
