Pizza Delivery Driver

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Pizza Delivery Driver, you will ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders while providing excellent customer service. You play a key role in maintaining restaurant efficiency and fostering a safe, respectful, and team-focused work environment.

• Ensure the vehicle is ready for delivery and familiarize yourself with the delivery zone.
• Check orders to maintain accuracy and quality, following proper delivery procedures.
• Provide professional service to customers in person and via telephone.
• Deliver flyers, door hangers, and food items to customer residences.
• Receive and fulfill telephone orders accurately.
• Manage sensitive customer information responsibly.
• Complete credit transactions and make necessary bank deposits.
• Collaborate with colleagues, support team members, and complete all end-of-day tasks, including cleaning responsibilities.
• Navigate challenging terrains, including tall structures and private residences, while carrying deliveries.
• Operate and clean equipment, and perform other workstation tasks such as ingredient preparation and product handling.
• Perform basic arithmetic, provide accurate change, and input orders using a computer or touchscreen interface.
• Manage stock, conduct inventory checks, and complete necessary documentation.
• Drive safely to complete deliveries.

Required Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED completion.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, proof of insurance, and access to a suitable vehicle.
• Proficient in navigation and map interpretation.
• Strong verbal, written, and phone communication skills.
• Excellent motor skills and hand-eye coordination for handling equipment and delivery tasks.
• Ability to work scheduled or unscheduled shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual skills in relevant markets.
• Experience in customer service or food delivery.
• Cross-training experience across multiple restaurant workstations.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Non-exempt hourly position with pay rates for in-store and delivery tasks.
