Role and Responsibilities:

The Back-of-House Culinary Assistant plays an essential role in maintaining kitchen efficiency, food quality, and guest satisfaction. This position involves working as part of a dynamic team to ensure that Chick-fil-A's operational and service standards are consistently met. Responsibilities include:

• Oversee completion of kitchen duties, ensuring food and customer experience meet Chick-fil-A's brand standards and the Operator's vision.
• Maintain efficiency in completing tasks to achieve operational excellence and meet performance goals.
• Manage food assembly, arrangement, and distribution at designated stations.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Engage in continuous kitchen activities for up to five hours without interruption.
• Apply math and measurement skills accurately during food preparation.
• Regularly clean, sweep, mop, dispose of waste, and maintain kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Exhibit friendliness toward guests even while performing back-of-house duties.
• Unload and store deliveries promptly and accurately.
• Safely handle items weighing up to 45 pounds.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum age requirement of 16 years.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation.
• Familiarity with kitchen tools and ability to reach shelves at varying heights.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, math, and verbal communication.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-temperature, and noisy environment.
• Adaptability to various roles as needed.
