Qualifications:

• Proven ability to use point-of-sale (POS) systems (like Micros) to process cash, credit card payments, and manage a personal cash bank with 100% accuracy throughout the shift.
• Strong proficiency in reading, writing, and verbal communication in English.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage guests and generate excitement about the unique Dave & Buster's experience.

Responsibilities:

• Consistently provide a world-class guest experience by combining exceptional service, quality food, and premium drinks in a lively setting.
• Maintain open communication with your direct supervisor, quickly reporting any significant issues or concerns.
• Take initiative to correct minor issues promptly or suggest alternative solutions to management when necessary.
• Cultivate a welcoming, high-energy environment for both guests and fellow team members.
• Strictly adhere to all company policies concerning cleanliness and food safety standards.
• Manage all financial transactions, including operating credit card terminals correctly, providing exact change, and maintaining an accurate personal cash bank.
• Fully comply with all responsible alcohol service protocols, including assessing guest demeanor to prevent intoxication and knowing when to alert a Manager regarding concerning guest behavior.
• Promptly and warmly welcome guests after they have been seated.
• Accurately record and transmit all food and drink orders.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of all menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to confidently answer guest questions.
• Enter all orders swiftly into the POS system using correct modifiers and ensuring proper sequencing.
• Ensure all dishes are correctly presented before delivering them to the designated table your own and others as needed following the Full hands in, Full hands out efficiency motto.
• Assist with the setup and cleanup for parties and special events.
• Clear and reset tables efficiently to prepare for new guests.
• Support other team members and departments during peak business hours.
• Be accountable for all sales processed through your personal POS key and complete all assigned side work at the start and end of every shift.
• Actively participate in promotional activities and contests to drive sales and support the brand.
• Follow precise portion control guidelines to manage costs while maximizing guest satisfaction.
• Ensure ongoing guest satisfaction by performing timely check-backs after food delivery, managing drink refills, clearing unnecessary items, and responding to guest needs immediately.
• Keep your assigned service area neat, organized, and properly stocked at all times.
• Promote a collaborative and positive work environment with all colleagues to maintain high morale and effectiveness.
• Maintain a professional appearance by adhering to the company dress code at all times.
• The role requires regular physical activity, including working days, nights, and/or weekends, standing or walking 100% of the shift, lifting up to 30 pounds, and frequent bending, stooping, and reaching in a fast-paced, noisy environment.
