Role and Responsibilities:

As a Receptionist at Wingstop, you will serve as the face of the restaurant, ensuring that every guest is welcomed warmly and receives exceptional service. Your role will involve managing customer interactions efficiently, maintaining order accuracy, and supporting smooth front-of-house operations. You will help deliver the energy and positivity that make Wingstop an inviting place for every guest.

• Greet guests warmly in person and over the phone to create a welcoming and friendly environment.
• Accurately process customer orders through the point-of-sale system.
• Stay informed about menu items, sauces, and promotions to assist customers effectively.
• Handle all types of transactions, including cash, credit card, and gift certificate payments, with accuracy and care.
• Verify order accuracy and presentation before handing them off for fulfillment or pickup.
• Ensure that all orders are completed promptly within set time standards.
• Reconcile the cash drawer at the end of shifts and report totals accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized front-of-house and guest area at all times.
• Comply with sanitation and food safety standards to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Address guest inquiries or complaints professionally and escalate to management when necessary.
• Represent the Wingstop brand through a polished, professional, and positive attitude.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in a cashier, front desk, or restaurant role is preferred.
• Ability to obtain or maintain a valid food handling certification.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and computer-based ordering software.
• Strong cash handling and basic math skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build rapport with guests and team members.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Reliable, professional, and committed to maintaining Wingstop's high standards of service.
• Demonstrates honesty, responsibility, and a strong sense of accountability.
