Job Summary of Crew Leader:

This role is responsible for overseeing restaurant operations during shifts, ensuring smooth service delivery, and maintaining a positive and productive environment. The position requires leadership, accountability, and the ability to inspire team members to exceed customer expectations, all while maintaining a fun and high-energy atmosphere.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Crew Leader:

• Be an ambassador of the Dairy Queen brand, maintaining professionalism in all aspects of performance.
• Welcome fans enthusiastically and ensure a positive customer experience at all times.
• Ensure the restaurant meets fan expectations by providing timely and quality service.
• Assist in managing specific areas of the restaurant, helping to pace the crew for high performance.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in workflow to maintain a smooth service process.
• Support the GM and Assistant Manager(s) in training and coaching crew members to build a skilled team.
• Organize and ensure the restaurant is adequately staffed during shifts.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both customers and team members.
• Resolve customer concerns calmly, following Dairy Queen's service recovery standards.
• Foster a cooperative and harmonious working relationship with all team members and management.
• Model performance standards for all team members and workstations.
• Exhibit a genuine passion for excellence in every aspect of work.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Experience of Crew Leader:

• At least 6 months of experience in a high-volume, quick-service restaurant.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to supervise specific areas of the restaurant in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding and application of safe food handling practices.
• ServSafe certification is required or must be obtained.
• Highly organized with great attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain composure and a positive attitude under pressure.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Exhibit good manners, personal hygiene, and punctuality.
• Maintain a fun and positive attitude at all times.
