Role and Responsibilities:

As the Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Restaurant Manager with operational leadership, staff supervision, and customer satisfaction. Your focus will be on maintaining smooth daily operations, ensuring food safety, and promoting quality service that exceeds brand expectations.

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in supervising all team members to ensure daily tasks are completed in accordance with company and health department regulations.
• Greet customers warmly and create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere to enhance the guest experience.
• Deliver outstanding service by ensuring courteous, efficient, and personalized interactions with customers.
• Maintain professional appearance standards by following company guidelines for uniforms and grooming.
• Support the training and development of employees to ensure excellence in cash handling, food preparation, inventory control, and cleanliness.
• Guide team members in using operational tools such as the Manager's Redbook to support effective communication and shift organization.
• Ensure proper handling of company assets, manage cash accuracy, and reduce inventory losses through efficient monitoring.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and order supplies to ensure consistent product availability.
• Uphold a clean and organized store environment that aligns with company image and customer expectations.
• Monitor food preparation quality, freshness, and presentation according to brand and safety standards.
• Handle customer feedback or complaints with professionalism, ensuring prompt and positive resolution.
• Track store performance, labor costs, and sales trends to assist in scheduling and operational decisions.
• Promote company programs and community events to strengthen local relationships and brand visibility.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Encourage open communication among team members and management to maintain a collaborative workplace.
• Support fair decision-making based on company policies and maintain integrity in all operations.
• Participate in company-approved training programs to enhance leadership and operational skills.
• Maintain a valid driver's license and insurance as required for company-related travel or responsibilities.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods (810 hours) on hard surfaces.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and moving items as needed for restocking and store maintenance.
• Experience working in refrigerated or cold environments while handling inventory.
• Proficient in using cleaning tools such as mops, brooms, or shovels for maintaining cleanliness.
• Ability to operate a dolly, maneuver inventory efficiently, and work at moderate heights using a stepladder.
• Comfortable working around cleaning agents, detergents, and food-related substances.
• Good hand-eye coordination for handling equipment, cash, and food products safely and efficiently.
• Strong communication and listening skills with the ability to respond effectively to customers and management.
• Good visual and auditory awareness for safety and operational efficiency.
• Adaptable to working in environments with varying temperatures, odors, and conditions.
• Demonstrates emotional control and professionalism when handling challenging customer situations or emergencies.
• Ability to act quickly and responsibly in emergencies such as fires, leaks, or other hazards.
• Maintains sobriety and sound judgment while on duty to ensure workplace safety.
• Possesses the physical ability to perform manual tank inventory procedures safely and accurately.
• Must hold a current and valid driver's license with proof of insurance.
