Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems, such as Micros, including skills in handling payments, accurate cash management, and concluding all financial transactions at shift end.
  • Excellent verbal communication abilities in English are required for effective interactions with customers and coworkers.
  • Must meet the minimum age requirement of 18 years.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding hospitality to all guests, ensuring they have a memorable time enjoying the combination of food, beverages, and games in a premier fun-centric setting.
  • Promptly report any operational concerns or significant issues directly to the shift manager or supervisor.
  • Take initiative to resolve minor issues or propose practical solutions as they arise.
  • Foster a welcoming and enjoyable environment for both patrons and fellow staff members.
  • Strictly comply with all company standards for food and beverage safety and sanitation.
  • Be responsible for personal cash accountability, which includes operating card payment devices correctly, providing precise change, and ensuring an adequate supply of currency.
  • Uphold all policies regarding the responsible serving of alcohol, specifically focusing on intoxication prevention and managing guests who may be over-served.
  • Monitor guest conduct and identify situations where a manager's intervention is necessary.
  • Greet guests at the bar or service area warmly and quickly.
  • Accurately take and input all food and drink orders.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the entire menu to expertly field questions about ingredients, preparation, and drink selections.
  • Efficiently and correctly enter orders into the POS system, making sure all necessary modifications and charges are applied.
  • Ensure all items are delivered with proper presentation and assist in running food and drinks to designated servers or other dining zones as needed.
  • Work quickly and effectively, always practicing the principle of carrying items both into and out of the service area (“Full hands in, Full hands out”).
  • Assist in the setup and takedown procedures for event spaces and large parties.
  • Aid in clearing and resetting tables and bar tops based on business volume.
  • Offer support to team members whenever business needs dictate.
  • Assume responsibility for all sales processed under your unique POS login and ensure completion of all designated opening and closing side work.
  • Actively participate in any sales-driving promotions or contests to boost revenue and brand awareness.
  • Adhere to specified portioning guidelines to manage costs while ensuring maximum guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure continuous guest satisfaction by performing timely table/bar checks, refilling beverages, removing empty glassware/plates, pre-bussing, and swiftly addressing any guest requests.
  • Keep the work area clean and well-organized, properly setting up and dismantling bar and service stations.
  • Collaborate effectively with all colleagues to promote a positive, efficient, and productive workplace atmosphere, contributing to high team morale.
  • Must possess clear and persuasive communication skills to generate excitement about the D&B experience.
  • Engage in active listening to fully understand guest orders and needs, communicating effectively with both guests and staff members through verbal means and the POS system.
  • Adhere strictly to the required uniform and grooming code, maintaining a neat, clean, and professional appearance at all times.
