Job Summary of Store General Manager:

In the role of a Store General Manager at IHOP, you will be responsible for managing a designated location through essential tasks to guarantee the restaurant's seamless functioning, productivity, and profitability. Your duties will encompass supervising the activities in both the dining and kitchen areas, upholding the quality and service benchmarks set by IHOP, and guiding your staff towards meeting revenue and operational targets.

Responsibilities of Store General Manager:

• Execute annual financial, local restaurant marketing, guest service, and human resource objectives, strategies and tactics for assigned unit
• Recruit, train, develop and retain team members
• Conduct on-going coaching and administer the restaurant hourly compensation plan.
• Deliver performance appraisals
• Communicate and enforce company policies
• Ensure food safety and presentation is in compliance with SOP standards
• Follow and enforce proper register/cash-handling procedures.
• Implement national and local marketing promotions
• Complete all required reports and paperwork.
• Handle paperwork accurately and on a timely basis.
• Maintain personnel files with appropriate employment and legal documents.

Qualifications of Store General Manager:

• Demonstrating effective skills in overseeing, inspiring, and nurturing a team
• Demonstrated leadership abilities
• Demonstrated skill in overseeing financial statements like the profit and loss statement and implementing necessary modifications based on analysis
• Minimum of three years of management experience in the casual dining sector or a related industry
• Possession of an authentic driver's permit is necessary
• Proficiency in handling both back-of-house and front-of-house technology for restaurants is required.
