Wingstop Order Taker

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Wingstop Order Taker, you will ensure every guest enjoys a seamless and enjoyable experience, from placing their order to receiving their meal.

• Warmly greet guests in person and over the phone, setting a positive and friendly tone.
• Accurately enter customer orders into the POS system while maintaining efficiency and attention to detail.
• Stay informed about menu items, sauces, specials, and promotions to make helpful recommendations to guests.
• Process cash, credit card, and gift card transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Verify order accuracy and presentation before delivery or handoff to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order preparation and delivery.
• Balance the cash register at the end of each shift and report totals to management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the service area to enhance the guest experience.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards to uphold a clean, safe, and hygienic workspace.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns professionally and escalate issues to supervisors as necessary.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance in accordance with Wingstop's brand guidelines.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience as a cashier or in restaurant operations is preferred but not required.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain a valid Food Handler Certification.
• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with POS systems required.
• Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage positively with guests and team members.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment while remaining calm under pressure.
• Dependable, courteous, and professional demeanor at all times.

Salary:
