Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems, specifically handling payments, maintaining an accurate personal cash bank, and balancing all transactions at shift closing.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills in English are mandatory for clear guest and colleague interactions.
  • Must meet or exceed the minimum age requirement of 18 years.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exemplary service to every customer, ensuring they have a memorable time enjoying the combination of food, beverages, and games in a setting designed for maximum fun.
  • Promptly report any significant operational issues or concerns to a manager or supervisor.
  • Take initiative to resolve minor problems or propose effective solutions when necessary.
  • Foster a welcoming and enjoyable environment for both guests and all team members.
  • Strictly adhere to all company policies concerning food and beverage hygiene and sanitation.
  • Be responsible for personal financial accountability, accurately operating card terminals, making correct change, and maintaining an appropriate supply of currency.
  • Diligently follow all responsible alcohol service guidelines, focusing on preventing over-intoxication and managing inebriated guests appropriately.
  • Monitor guest demeanor and escalate situations to management when intervention is required.
  • Provide a quick and friendly greeting to guests upon their arrival at the bar area.
  • Precisely take and enter guests' food and drink selections.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the entire menu to expertly field questions about dishes, drinks, and preparation methods.
  • Rapidly and accurately enter orders into the POS system, ensuring all necessary custom modifications and charges are applied.
  • Verify that all items served are presented attractively and assist in running trays to servers or designated service areas as needed.
  • Work with speed and efficiency, consistently applying the “Full hands in, Full hands out” work principle.
  • Aid in the setup and takedown of spaces for events and private parties.
  • Assist with clearing and resetting bar tops and tables according to business needs.
  • Support colleagues as needed or when dictated by high business volume.
  • Be fully accountable for all sales processed under your personal POS login and ensure completion of all designated preparatory and closing side work tasks.
  • Actively participate in any sales-boosting promotions and internal contests.
  • Follow exact portioning standards to manage costs while ensuring high guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure continuous guest satisfaction by performing timely table check-backs, topping up beverages, removing empty items, pre-bussing, and immediately responding to guest needs.
  • Keep the work area clean and well-organized, properly setting up and dismantling service stations.
  • Collaborate effectively with all team members to maintain a positive, productive, and efficient workplace atmosphere.
  • Use persuasive communication to build enthusiasm for the D&B experience.
  • Practice active listening to fully understand guest requirements and effectively communicate with guests and team members, both verbally and via the POS system.
  • Adhere to the prescribed dress code, always maintaining a clean, neat, and professional appearance.
