A Bartender is responsible for crafting classic and creative alcohol and non-alcohol beverages, engaging with customers, and ensuring that every guest has a memorable experience. Creativity, knowledge of mixology, and excellent customer service skills helps establish the operation's reputation as a go-to destination for exceptional drinks.

Typical responsibilities:

• Design a diverse array of artisanal cocktails, alcohol-free mocktails, and specialty beverages with finesse and creativity, incorporating premium ingredients, techniques, and garnishes. Regularly devise new and exciting drink creations.
• Provide top-notch customer service by warmly receiving guests, engaging in friendly and professional conversations, and recognizing their preferences. Offer personalized recommendations and suggestions to suit their tastes for an enjoyable and individualized experience.
• Ensure that all drink orders are handled with care and efficiency, prepared according to company standards and any specific requests from customers.
• Exhibit a deep understanding of classic and modern mixology methods, incorporating different spirits, liqueurs, bitters, and mixers. Stay updated on the latest trends and innovative techniques in the mixology industry.
• Sustain a clean and arranged bar space, guaranteeing that all glassware, utensils, and bar equipment are sanitized and easily accessible. Follow safety and hygiene standards, including the proper handling and storage of ingredients.
• Participants in the training course receive certification upon demonstrating understanding and adherence to safe alcohol service practices
• Coordinate closely with other team members, such as servers, kitchen staff, and management, to maintain operational flow and deliver a seamless customer experience. Offer assistance during peak times and contribute to other aspects of the establishment when necessary.
• Accurately handle customer payments, responsibly manage cash, and secure the cash register, while also keeping detailed records of sales, tips, and inventory to assist in effective management and financial visibility.

The mandatory experience and competencies:

• Skillful in conducting comprehensive full bar and wine service tasks
• Competence in upscale culinary experiences
• The position necessitates the ability to lift, handle, and carry beverage items, supplies, glass racks, smallwares, and equipment with a maximum weight of 50 pounds
• The capability to communicate well and listen carefully to supervisors, employees, and guests is a valuable skill.
