Role Overview:

In search of a Catering Server who is amicable, vigilant, and dynamic for a position in our team. Ensure that Clients are provided with an excellent dining experience. Deliver service to Guests with a friendly, accommodating, skilled, and punctual approach, while being mindful of their needs. Follow responsible alcohol serving guidelines as set forth by Golden Corral Dining's policy and as mandated by local and state laws.

Responsibilities:

• Exhibit expert proficiency in the menu to explain our offerings to guests, inform them about current food promotions and specials, and address any queries they may have.
• Accurately notates food and drink orders on guest tickets and promptly enters them into the POS system before serving, utilizing suitable abbreviations and charges.
• Ensures timely delivery of food and drinks to guests by fetching orders from the kitchen and transporting them promptly to customers within the server's section or any other designated area within the restaurant.
• Competence in observing guest conduct and pinpointing situations that warrant escalation to a Manager, even if they are in another team member's zone of responsibility.
• Follow alcohol awareness procedures for age confirmation, intoxication prevention, and handling intoxicated Guests while respecting company alcohol guidelines.
• Ensure the accuracy of all monetary transactions and maintain precision when giving back change in coins.
• Properly manage credit card processing equipment.
• Swiftly calculates the accurate change due to the guest and returns the proper amount promptly.
• Ensures table cleanliness by promptly clearing dishes, monitoring beverage levels, removing clutter, and providing enough napkins.
• Ensures the station is neat and orderly, sets up and removes station tables properly.
• Executes shift handovers and opening or closing duties as part of the job.
• Observes all safety and sanitation protocols mandated by the organization.
• Offers assistance to colleagues whenever required or as per the demands of the business.
• Works to maintain positive relationships with all team members to nurture a cooperative work environment and ensure strong morale.
• Always depicts Golden Corral in a favorable way.
• Keeps workspaces orderly and ensures tools, equipment, and supplies are stored appropriately.
