Role and Responsibilities:

As a Dishwasher, you will ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen equipment and work areas, assist with food preparation, and support other store operations as needed.

• Operate store equipment safely and effectively.
• Stock ingredients from delivery areas to storage, workstations, and walk-in coolers.
• Prepare food products as requested.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility daily, ensuring kitchen areas and dishwashing stations are sanitized.
• Assist with dining room service when necessary, such as readying customer orders.
• Maintain hand sinks, including replenishing soap and paper towels.
• Keep dishwashing operations clean and free of debris while following all sanitation protocols.
• Maintain accurate temperature, sanitation, and cleaning logs.
• Follow all orientation and on-the-job training procedures.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 16 years of age.
• Basic verbal, written, and communication skills to follow instructions.
• Ability to perform basic math tasks accurately.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to perform tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work alone or with others under stress while meeting quality control standards.
• Eye-hand coordination and dexterity for food preparation and equipment handling.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing for most tasks; walking short distances for short durations.
• Lifting bulk deliveries up to 50 lbs using a hand truck and stacking cases up to 72 high.
• Carrying ingredients and supplies, including large cans, pizza sauce (up to 30 lbs), and trays of pizza dough (approx. 12 lbs each).
• Pushing and pulling trays on dollies requiring up to 7.5 lbs of force.
• Occasional climbing of stairs or ladders for maintenance tasks.
• Stooping, bending, crouching, squatting, and reaching continuously as required for tasks.
• Continuous use of hands for dishwashing, food preparation, and manipulation of kitchen tools.

Work Conditions:

• Exposure to varying in-store temperatures from 36°F in coolers to above 90°F in work areas.
• Exposure to adverse weather when performing outside tasks.
• Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
• Cramped work areas including walk-in coolers.
