Subway Receptionist

Role and Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist guests with a positive and friendly attitude, ensuring an exceptional customer experience at all times.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of menu items and accurately describe products to customers.
• Process customer orders using the Point of Sale (POS) system or cash register, handling transactions efficiently and providing accurate change.
• Maintain detailed records of cash handling and other payment methods during operational hours.
• Prepare sandwiches and other menu items following Subway's guidelines, recipes, and presentation standards.
• Check and restock food items in the sandwich station to ensure adequate supply throughout shifts.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards while preparing and serving food.
• Follow the restaurant's three-step cleaning process to maintain organization and hygiene across all work areas.
• Adhere to Subway's Operations Manual for grooming, uniform, and quality standards.
• Complete basic paperwork and other assigned administrative duties as directed by management.
• Participate in required University of Subway training programs to enhance knowledge and skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• No prior experience required; full training will be provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with guests and team members.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
• Reliable, adaptable, and capable of performing duties in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods during the workday.
• Capability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
• Proficiency in operating computerized POS systems and other standard restaurant equipment.
