Job Summary of Line Cook:
This role is responsible for preparing and cooking food items while maintaining high standards of quality, presentation, and food safety. The position also includes keeping the workspace clean, following recipes accurately, and observing all safety protocols.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Line Cook:
- Prepare menu items following established recipes and plating standards.
- Complete all prep work efficiently and accurately.
- Set up and organize workstations according to guidelines.
- Maintain proper sanitation and safe food handling practices at all times.
- Clean and sanitize work areas before, during, and after shifts.
- Carry out daily and weekly assigned cleaning tasks.
- Communicate clearly with team members, managers, and other cooks.
- Read and write effectively to complete required documentation and instructions.
- Use kitchen tools and equipment, including knives, with skill and safety.
- Maintain balance and coordination while working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Stand for up to 8 hours during a shift.
- Work in environments with wet floors, extreme temperatures, and high noise levels.
- Bend, stoop, lift, and carry items up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Move freely throughout the kitchen without restrictions.
Qualifications and Experience of Line Cook:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to remain standing throughout the shift.
- Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs comfortably.
- Preferred minimum age of 18 years or older.

Salary:
$14.50 - $18.00 per hour
