Job Summary:

As a Kitchen Culinary Shift Supervisor at Chick-fil-A, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations and ensuring high-quality service in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for helping others and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. You will supervise kitchen staff, manage food safety and sanitation practices, and maintain a positive work atmosphere that reflects the company's core values of learning, excellence, and respect.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Illustrate skill in managing tasks and prioritizing duties in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Coordinate and structure work rotations to enhance performance and achieve optimal cost management.
  • Supervise kitchen divisions including meal prep, food coating, and assembly of completed items.
  • Ensure all food packaging, presentation, and quality meet Chick-fil-A's standards for consistency.
  • Use internal data to monitor work accuracy and take immediate action to address areas requiring improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Kitchen Director and Training Director to identify and resolve any issues.
  • Encourage adherence to strict food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Supervise team members to ensure they meet required service speed and quality standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, parking lot, and facility.
  • Inspire team members to adhere to the dress code, grooming guidelines, and organizational protocols.
  • Enhance individual and team skills through feedback and willingness to adapt to changes.
  • Manage pressure effectively and resolve issues promptly to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Take proactive action in addressing performance issues and enforcing disciplinary procedures when necessary.
  • Comply with Chick-fil-A's policies and procedures to ensure smooth operational flow.

Pay Rate:

The starting pay for this position is $23.50 per hour.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old to meet the minimum age requirement.
  • Willing to work full-time, with 30-40 hours per week.
  • Availability to work on Saturdays is required (Chick-fil-A is closed on Sundays).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role is required.
