Job Summary of Team Leader:

Team Leader play a crucial role in upholding high standards of service and hospitality within the company while also assisting with various operational duties. They are required to deliver exceptional guest service during their shift, working alongside salaried managers to ensure the smooth running of the restaurant on a daily basis. This position is paid on an hourly basis, offering support in administrative tasks and maintaining service excellence.

Responsibilities of Team Leader:

Acts as the main liaison for SOH in the absence of management.
Offers front-of-house training, coaching, and constructive criticism to the staff.
Occasionally, one might take on complete accountability for overseeing a work period.
The majority of the Team Leader duties involve being present on the restaurant floor.
Provides guidance to new employees, aids in their orientation process, and guarantees adherence to company regulations, guidelines, and protocols.
Can help with organizing staffing requirements in case a team member is unable to come to work
Managing the handling of cash receipts, store receipts, and discounts, while also ensuring the reconciliation of cash receipts and store bank funds
Carry out additional tasks as required. Reasonable adjustments can be provided to support individuals with disabilities in completing the necessary job responsibilities.
Team Leader need to demonstrate composure when facing challenges such as guest interactions, staff issues, equipment malfunctions, or emergencies.
