Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant setting, is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and outgoing personality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and move with ease in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly with seating arrangements and reservations.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and remain calm under pressure.
• Must be able and willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Minimum age 16 years.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet all Guests upon arrival, provide accurate wait times, and escort them to their tables with a positive attitude.
• Manage the flow of the dining room efficiently, ensuring optimal seating arrangements and minimizing Guest wait times.
• Answer incoming phone calls, take reservations accurately, and provide information about the restaurant.
• Assist Guests with special needs or requests, ensuring a comfortable and accommodating experience.
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand and waiting area.
• Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations.
• Distribute menus and inform Guests of any specials or promotions.
• Handle Guest inquiries and minor issues with professionalism and escalate complex concerns to management.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the restaurant's layout, table numbers, and seating capacities.
• Assist with light cleaning duties in the front of house as needed.
