Responsibilities:

• Show keen familiarity with the menu to effectively communicate our dishes to guests, inform them about the latest food promotions and specials, and respond to any concerns they may have.
• Records food and drink orders on guest tickets accurately and efficiently enters them into the POS system before serving, utilizing appropriate abbreviations and charges.
• Ensures timely delivery of food and drinks to guests by fetching orders from the kitchen and transporting them promptly to customers within the server's section or any other designated area within the restaurant.
• Ability to evaluate guest behavior effectively and identify when it is necessary to alert a Manager, even within the realms overseen by other team members.
• Follow alcohol awareness procedures for age confirmation, intoxication prevention, and handling intoxicated Guests while respecting company alcohol guidelines.
• Confirm the correctness of financial transactions and maintain precision when providing change in coins.
• Use credit card terminals appropriately.
• Efficiently calculates change due to the customer and returns the correct amount promptly.
• Maintains table orderliness by pre-bussing, monitoring beverage levels, decluttering, and supplying enough napkins.
• Maintains station hygiene, sets up and removes station tables in an appropriate fashion.
• Manages opening and closing responsibilities as part of the daily routine.
• Abides by the safety and sanitation rules and regulations set forth by the organization.
• Provides support to team members whenever necessary or as required by business demands.
• Cultivates a harmonious working atmosphere with all colleagues to enhance morale and productivity within the company.
• Maintains a favorable representation of Golden Corral.
• Ensures that work zones are kept clean and that tools, equipment, and supplies are stored appropriately.

Requirements:

• Fluent in the English language for effective communication in both speech and writing
• Presenting oneself with a clean and professional look is integral to gaining credibility
• Firm fortitude to handle long or divided work shifts
• Stand without sitting for a long period
• Able to modify availability to suit changing work demands
• Highly Collaborative Nature
• Express a feeling of imminent necessity
• Capable of lifting 25 pounds multiple times within a day
• Preferably, applicants should have one year of experience dealing with cash
• Previous work as waitstaff is an advantage
