Cashier

Job Summary:

At Wingstop, flavor is everything. As a Cashier, you'll be at the frontline of delivering our famous guest experience. You’ll take and process orders, communicate effectively with the kitchen crew, and ensure each guest leaves with a smile and a delicious order in hand. Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly in-person and over the phone, creating a welcoming environment.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
• Stay knowledgeable about menu items, sauces, promotions, and make personalized recommendations.
• Handle transactions including cash, credit cards, and gift cards with accuracy.
• Monitor and verify order accuracy and presentation before handing off to customers.
• Ensure orders are prepared and delivered within the quoted time.
• Balance the cash drawer at the end of the shift and report totals.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front-of-house and customer areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards; promote a safe and hygienic workplace.
• Handle guest inquiries or complaints with professionalism, escalating to management when necessary.
• Uphold Wingstop's brand image and maintain a clean, presentable appearance.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous cashier or restaurant experience is a plus.
• Must have or be willing to obtain a valid Food Handler Certification.
• Familiarity with computerized POS systems.
• Strong cash-handling and basic math skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment.
• Dependable, courteous, and professional at all times.
• Must demonstrate integrity, honesty, and a high sense of responsibility.

Salary:

?13,000 – ?20,000 per month (based on experience, location, and shift availability)
