Domino's Pizza is seeking the next generation of leaders to join its team as Shift Managers. This role is integral to ensuring store operations run smoothly, maintaining high standards of service, and supporting team members. As a Shift Manager, you will help drive operational excellence while contributing to the company's mission of providing quality pizza and exceptional customer service.
Role and Responsibilities:
As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations during your shift, ensuring cost controls, inventory management, cash handling, and exceptional customer interactions. You will set the example for the team and ensure adherence to all policies and procedures.
Manage store operations during opening or closing shifts.
Control costs, monitor inventory, and manage cash accurately.
Ensure customer satisfaction through professional interaction in person and by phone.
Operate all equipment safely and efficiently.
Stock ingredients and supplies from delivery areas to storage and workstations.
Prepare products according to quality and safety standards.
Receive and process telephone orders accurately.
Complete paperwork related to inventory, sales, and store operations.
Lead, mentor, and support team members to ensure teamwork and productivity.
Maintain store cleanliness and adherence to safety standards.
Perform other assigned workstation duties as needed, including preparing ingredients, making quality products, and handling deliveries.
Deliver pizzas and flyers within designated delivery areas while navigating varying terrains and weather conditions.
Required Skills and Experience:
Strong judgment, multitasking abilities, and math skills.
Ability to manage cash, execute credit transactions, and enter orders using a computer or touchscreen.
Verbal, written, and telephone communication skills to process orders accurately.
Motor coordination for rapid and precise movements during food preparation and equipment handling.
Physical capability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, climb, and reach as required.
Valid driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle for delivery duties.
Ability to memorize recipes, portion amounts, and follow detailed job aids.
Experience in quick-service restaurant (QSR) environments preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in supervising or leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Familiarity with store operations, equipment, and delivery procedures.
