Role and Responsibilities:

As a Front End Clerk, you will play a vital role in maintaining Wingstop's reputation for quality and customer satisfaction. You'll handle orders efficiently, assist guests with their selections, and collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure every meal is prepared and served to perfection.

• Provide a friendly and welcoming experience for guests, both in person and over the phone.
• Accurately process orders using the point-of-sale (POS) system while maintaining efficiency and attention to detail.
• Stay informed about the full menu, sauces, specials, and promotions to make personalized recommendations.
• Process payments accurately, including cash, credit cards, and gift cards.
• Review and verify the accuracy and presentation of each order before handing it to guests.
• Ensure timely order completion and assist with coordination between front-of-house and kitchen staff.
• Perform end-of-shift cash reconciliation and maintain accurate financial records.
• Keep the front counter and guest areas clean, organized, and visually appealing.
• Adhere to Wingstop's food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Address customer inquiries and complaints professionally, escalating to management when necessary.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude that reflects Wingstop's commitment to excellence.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience as a cashier or in a restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
• Must hold or be willing to obtain a valid Food Handler Certification.
• Proficiency in using electronic POS systems for order processing.
• Strong mathematical skills and accuracy in handling cash transactions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with guests and team members.
• Ability to remain composed and efficient in high-energy, fast-paced environments.
• Dependable, polite, and professional in conduct and appearance.
• Demonstrates honesty, accountability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
