Role and Responsibilities of Restaurant Operations Supervisor:

As a Restaurant Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for management of an entire shift(s) of restaurant operations. You will work with restaurant management to provide the direction and training required on every shift to exceed our customer's expectations. This position involves managing the front-line team, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining operational efficiency, and supporting the management team in achieving restaurant goals. Key responsibilities include

  • Administer and supervise the entire shift's restaurant operations, ensuring all tasks are fulfilled and maintained.
  • Provide instruction, mentorship, and training to elevate team productivity.
  • Build a pleasant and welcoming ambiance for both work and dining settings.
  • Safeguard and enhance the adherence to food safety measures throughout the work shift.
  • Reach store sales and profit goals by streamlining operational processes and procedures.
  • Make sure that the QSC standards are met by prioritizing quality, service, and cleanliness.
  • Guarantee the preservation of Wendy's brand and holdings.
  • Demonstrate a consistent track record of meeting performance goals and delivering results.
  • Strive to exceed customer expectations and ensure their complete satisfaction with our service.
  • Guide, monitor, and motivate staff to consistently follow food safety protocols.
  • Fulfill the responsibilities of a Cash Manager as necessary, including setting up cash registers for operations and verifying cash amounts at the end of the day.
  • Perform checks to confirm that the restaurant is properly arranged for the start/end of operations and can effectively handle busy periods.
  • Collaborate with the restaurant management team to create effective communication channels and training methods that support the retention of crew members and Team Trainers.
  • Monitor, supervise, and delegate the performance of operational duties, guaranteeing adherence to all Company policies and guidelines.
  • Help the restaurant management team in organizing crew schedules to maintain proper coverage for the restaurant and achieve exceptional customer service.
  • Adhere to budget constraints by managing food and labor costs efficiently.
  • Apply organizational policies and procedures consistently.
  • Enforce quality standards throughout the food preparation process.
  • Collaboratively work with your team to achieve sales milestones and drive revenue.
  • Handle customer dissatisfaction promptly and resolve guest-related problems efficiently.

Required Skills and Experience of Restaurant Operations Supervisor:

  • A minimum age of 18 years is required.
  • It is advisable to have a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification, and to hold all the essential documents as required by state and federal statutes.
  • Ideal candidates will have a minimum of one year of experience as a Restaurant Operations Supervisor or in a similar capacity, with a particular preference for those with a background in high-volume quick-service restaurants or fast-casual concepts.
  • Willing to adjust availability for rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Demonstrated talent in leading and managing your team in a speedy and energetic environment.
  • Capable of effectively solving problems and making prudent decisions.
  • Result-driven and dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Skilled in leadership and proficient in interpersonal interactions.
  • Skill in establishing productive interactions with team members and customers through communication is essential.
  • Knowledge of the guidelines and procedures that ensure food safety.
  • Proficient in multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced situation.

Preferred Qualifications for Restaurant Operations Supervisor:

  • Experience in fast-paced QSR or fast casual restaurant formats.
  • Strong abilities in PC operations can be advantageous.
  • Expertise in handling cash flow responsibilities and financial reporting tasks.
