Qualifications:

• Strong foundation in guest service, prioritizing a positive dining experience.
• Proficiency in using common restaurant technology, such as a Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to effectively manage time and multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Effective communication skills to professionally interact with guests and team members.
• Must possess dependability and exceptional teamwork skills.
• Experience level of 0-2 years in a related field or similar restaurant setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with standard restaurant concepts, procedures, and best practices.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform necessary reaching, bending, and stooping.
• Comfortable using various food preparation and beverage equipment safely (e.g., knives, coffee brewers).

Responsibilities:

• Accurately take guest orders, utilizing deep menu knowledge and suggesting situational add-ons to enhance their meal.
• Promptly and correctly serve all food and beverages to guests, ensuring every item meets company quality standards and is properly prepared.
• Act as a menu expert, confidently describing dishes and communicating all current promotions and new product information.
• Ensure accurate input of all orders into the POS system.
• Maintain a clean dining environment by pre-bussing tables and completing assigned side work tasks as required.
• Uphold the highest standards of safe food and beverage handling, maintaining a clean workspace at all times.
• Address and resolve minor guest concerns effectively, escalating complex issues to the manager immediately.
• Actively communicate and interact with guests, making them feel comfortable, especially during busy periods or while waiting for service.
• Be prepared to assist in other roles or departments as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
