The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and order of dishes, utensils, and cooking implements, contributing to the smooth running of the kitchen.

Key Duties and Responsibilities for Dishroom Attendant:

Scrapes and rinses remnants of food off dirty dishes before either hand-washing them or transferring them onto dishwashing equipment for effective cleaning and sanitization.
Cleans kitchenware such as pots, pans, and trays using specified protocols to achieve optimal cleanliness.
Applies different techniques, including the use of a burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth, as per provided guidelines to buff silver objects. Ensures the utmost cleanliness and sanitation in the process.
Verifies that the defined safety procedures are complied with.
Regulates temperatures and chemical metrics based on established criteria.
Keeps the dishwashing station in order and follows safety protocols.
Ensures kitchen floors are swept and mopped to meet safety and sanitation criteria.
Wipes down worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other surfaces involved in food preparation.
Cleans trash cans by either steaming or rinsing them to maintain cleanliness and proper waste disposal.
Relocates equipment and materials to different areas within a facility.
Provides support in the movement of supplies and products, aiding in both loading and unloading tasks.
Handles any other assigned responsibilities.
