Role and Responsibilities:

The Food Service Associate plays a vital role in providing top-tier service to our customers while maintaining a clean and organized environment. Your responsibilities will include ensuring accurate and efficient service to guests, food preparation, and supporting general store operations. Your main duties will include:

• Ensuring an excellent customer experience through friendly greetings and efficient transaction processing.
• Accurately scanning items or entering prices manually, handling payments, and providing receipts.
• Meeting customer needs by providing high-quality food and beverages while following strict food safety guidelines.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies regarding the sale of age-restricted items such as tobacco, alcohol, and lottery products.
• Safely and efficiently handling kitchen tools and equipment during food preparation.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the store, kitchen, backroom, and external areas.
• Monitoring inventory and assisting with receiving and organizing deliveries.
• Adhering to safety measures to create a secure environment for both staff and customers.
• Completing daily records and reports for each shift to ensure operational efficiency.
• Tracking time spent on tasks and following attendance guidelines established by the company.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent certification preferred.
• Less than six months of experience in retail, food service, or customer-facing roles is welcome, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16 years old.
• Completion of the company's training program is required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to take on different responsibilities as needed by the store.
• Ability to move quickly and efficiently during work hours.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.

Salary:

Hourly pay: Competitive pay ranging from $12 to $15 per hour, based on experience and regional location. There is potential for higher pay after performance reviews.
