Job Description:Host

Our franchise organization, John Gomez Enterprises, LLC dba Golden Corral, is currently seeking energetic, friendly individuals to join our team!Entering and leaving Golden Corral are two of the most critical moments in the guest's experience because lasting impressions are formed during these moments. The Host's interactions with our guests and these impressions ultimately dictate whether the guest will return.

Guest Service:

• Extends a personal greeting to arriving patrons and offers a genuine invitation to return as they depart.
• Offers aid to guests who require any form of assistance.
• Handles the processing of GC To Go orders in a timely manner.
• Warm and respectful over the telephone.
• Handles payments accurately.
• Follows and understands position responsibilities in the context of just-in-time delivery.
• Familiar with the buffet selection for the day and knowledgeable about the menu options and their respective prices.

Cleanliness:

• Maintains cleanliness and organization in the vestibule, host/cashier station, and its surroundings.
• Help is needed to arrange the buffet in the right manner and verify the correctness of all labels. This also includes the responsibility of cleaning the buffets and their surroundings.
• Adheres to the ordinances set by the neighborhood health department.
• Directs duty roster operations with a focus on meeting cleanliness, service, and quality protocols.

Operational Excellence:

• Notifies the manager about the need to relocate money from the register to the secure safe in order to minimize the risk of robbery.
• Confirms that the cash register aligns with the daily paperwork.
