Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of common restaurant practices and concepts.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience in a similar guest-facing role.
• Exceptional ability to handle money, process credit card transactions, and accurately make change.
• Proficiency with computer systems, particularly Point-of-Sale (POS) technology.
• Excellent guest service skills with the ability to proactively identify and solve issues.
• Highly detailed-oriented with strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Must possess dependability and a strong commitment to teamwork.
• Relies on experience and judgment to effectively plan and accomplish daily tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Warmly and sincerely greet and welcome guests, managing the seating process by monitoring the dining room flow.
• Ensure guests are provided with the correct number of menus and children's packs upon seating.
• Accurately manage all financial transactions, including cash, credit cards, and gift cards, and reconcile all receivables.
• Perform essential side duties such as answering the phone, conducting restroom checks, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the lobby, bakery, retail areas, and general workspace.
• Effectively communicate current promotions, new products, and marketing information to guests to assist in situational selling.
• Handle guest inquiries and minor complaints efficiently, escalating issues to management as necessary.
• Manage guest wait times in coordination with managers, providing accurate time quotes.
• Practice safe food and beverage handling at all times.
• Actively engage with guests to inquire about their dining experience and demonstrate genuine care.
• Assist in clearing, sanitizing, and resetting tables when required.
• May be assigned various duties across other job categories to support overall restaurant operations.
