General Manager

Job Title: Restaurant General Manager

Position Summary:

The Restaurant General Manager (RGM) has overall responsibility for leading the daily operations of a single Burger King restaurant (10 45 employees). This role ensures guest satisfaction, drives sales and profitability, maintains compliance with company and government standards, and develops strong teams. Reporting to a District Manager, the RGM oversees Assistant Managers, Shift Coordinators, and Team Members, while fostering a culture of service, accountability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient, accurate preparation and service of products.
• Deliver outstanding guest experiences through fast, friendly service and clean, welcoming surroundings.
• Lead and motivate restaurant teams to exceed customer expectations.
• Coach and provide feedback to Assistant Managers, Shift Coordinators, and Team Members.
• Manage profit and loss (P&L), implement marketing strategies, and follow financial controls and cash/security procedures.
• Oversee labor, inventory, and financial reporting to optimize restaurant results.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, food safety standards, employment laws, and government regulations.
• Recruit, hire, train, and retain strong restaurant talent.
• Maintain facilities and equipment according to preventive maintenance standards.
• Work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts, as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• Completion of Burger King certification programs (or ability to complete).
• 1 2 years of restaurant management experience in quick service or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of P&L management and financial analysis.
• Ability to lead, prioritize, and organize work in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Compensation:

$55,000 $70,000 annually (depending on location and experience), plus performance-based incentives.
