What You'll Do:
As a Staff Accountant, you'll play a key role in preparing and maintaining accurate financial records that track the organization's assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax obligations, and other critical financial activities.

What You'll Do:
As a Staff Accountant, you'll play a key role in preparing and maintaining accurate financial records that track the organization's assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax obligations, and other critical financial activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support period closings and assist in preparing financial statements
- Perform daily deposit and bank reconciliations
- Complete multi-state, city, and county sales tax reporting
- Prepare and review credit card reconciliations
- Maintain the General Ledger with accurate journal entries and account reconciliations
- Research and resolve discrepancies across accounts
- Create special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
- Prepare personal property tax returns
- Recommend improvements to accounting procedures and practices
- Provide auditors with documentation and account details during annual audits
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual accruals
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company information
- Contribute to team success through special projects and additional duties as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or equivalent relevant experience)
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
- Ability to manage and track budgets effectively
- Familiarity with standard accounting principles and procedures
- Strong data entry and general math skills
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with integrity
