Seeking a friendly, observant, and lively Cafeteria Server Assistant to join our team. Ensure Guests have an exceptional dining experience. Serve Patrons in a warm, welcoming, efficient, and timely manner and be attentive to their needs. Practice responsible alcohol service in accordance with state and local laws and Golden Corral Dining alcohol policy.

Responsibilities:

• Show keen familiarity with the menu to effectively communicate our dishes to guests, inform them about the latest food promotions and specials, and respond to any concerns they may have.
• Takes accurate food and beverage orders on guest tickets and promptly inputs them into the POS system before serving, using the right abbreviations and charges.
• Delivers food orders and beverages to patrons promptly, which includes collecting items from the kitchen and serving them quickly to guests within the server's zone or other designated sections of the restaurant.
• Skill in analyzing guest behavior and determining appropriate circumstances to seek the involvement of a Manager, regardless of the specific section responsibility.
• Enforce alcohol awareness procedures to ascertain age, prevent intoxication, and manage intoxicated Guests while following all company alcohol regulations.
• Verify the accuracy of all financial transactions and ensure precision in handling coins to give accurate change.
• Use credit card terminals appropriately.
• Returns the accurate change amount to the guest in a timely manner.
• Preserves table cleanliness through pre-clearing, monitoring beverage levels, decluttering, and ensuring an adequate napkin supply.
• Ensures the station is clean and organized, sets up and takes down station tables correctly.
• Handles responsibilities pertaining to shift transitions and daily opening or closing.
• Maintains strict compliance with company policies on safety and sanitation.
• Provides aid to team members whenever necessary or when business needs warrant it.
• Builds and sustains favorable relationships with company team members to create a cooperative working culture that enhances overall morale.

Requirements:

• Proficient in utilizing English fluently for both speaking and writing tasks

• Keep upright for a prolonged period of time
• Can conform to a variable work timetable
