The Bar Stock Associate (also known as the Back of Bar Attendant) position at Dave & Buster's plays a critical support role in ensuring the bar area functions efficiently, directly contributing to an outstanding guest experience. This is a high-energy role focused on behind-the-scenes operations to support the bartenders and the front-of-house team.

Qualifications:

  • Capable of proficiently utilizing the Micros point-of-sale system, which includes processing transactions, handling cash accurately, and reconciling all financial activities at the conclusion of a shift (if cross-trained for service roles).
  • Strong command of verbal English for clear and effective interaction with team members and guests.
  • Must meet the minimum age requirement of 18 years.
  • A natural ability to engage positively with colleagues and foster enthusiasm for the Dave & Buster's atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a core support to the service team, ensuring the bar is fully stocked and prepared for operation, thereby guaranteeing prompt and superior service to every guest.
  • Immediately notify the supervisor or manager of any operational challenges, shortages, or significant issues.
  • Take initiative to correct problems proactively, or offer practical suggestions for necessary solutions.
  • Contribute to a lively and pleasant environment for both guests and the entire team.
  • Strictly adhere to all company protocols regarding beverage and food hygiene and sanitation.
  • Assist in managing inventory and supplies, ensuring correct counts and timely restocking of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, ice, glassware, and other bar essentials.
  • Follow responsible alcohol service guidelines, concentrating on preventing over-intoxication and managing patrons appropriately when necessary.
  • Monitor the bar and surrounding area for any situations that may require management intervention or immediate attention.
  • Support the service team by running food and drink orders to designated servers or other guest areas as required.
  • Maintain speed and efficiency, consistently employing the “Full hands in, Full hands out” methodology for restocking and clearing.
  • Aid in setting up and breaking down event or party spaces when needed.
  • Help with clearing tables and resetting service areas as dictated by business volume.
  • Provide necessary assistance to colleagues or other departments during peak business periods.
  • Diligently complete all assigned side work tasks and closing duties at the start and end of each shift to ensure operational readiness.
  • Follow precise portioning and dispensing standards to maintain cost control and maximize guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, properly setting up and dismantling service stations, storage, and preparation areas.
  • Work cooperatively with all team members to promote a positive, efficient, and high-morale workplace.
  • Be an active and attentive listener to understand needs and effectively communicate with team members.
  • Comply with the specific uniform code, maintaining a neat, clean, and professional appearance at all times.

  • Move frequently throughout the facility and remain on feet for entire shifts.
