Role and Responsibilities:

As an Assistant Deli Manager, you will assist in overseeing daily store operations, guiding team members, and ensuring that every guest interaction reflects Wingstop's high standards for quality and hospitality. You'll play an active role in supporting operations, training, and brand development through strong leadership and collaboration.

• Focus on delivering exceptional guest satisfaction by leading through example and maintaining a positive, team-driven atmosphere.
• Assist the Store Manager with daily operations, including product preparation, food presentation, workplace management, and inventory oversight.
• Support in recruiting, training, and supervising staff, ensuring each team member understands their responsibilities and contributes effectively to store success.
• Uphold Wingstop's standards of quality, food safety, and operational consistency across all activities.
• Manage administrative and operational duties such as scheduling, ordering, payroll preparation, expense tracking, and performance reporting.
• Coordinate and fulfill custom or large-scale orders, maintaining accuracy and timely delivery for customers and business clients.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, ensuring cash management accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Assist in implementing local marketing initiatives and community engagement events to build brand awareness and drive growth.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of store operations and flexibility to assist in various roles when needed.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required; additional education is an advantage.
• One to three years of experience in retail, restaurant, or hospitality management, with progressive leadership responsibilities.
• Proven success in fostering exceptional guest experiences and mentoring staff for performance excellence.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook with the ability to quickly adapt to new technology platforms.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position requiring schedule flexibility, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The Assistant Deli Manager typically works 42 hours per week during standard operations, with up to 55 hours expected during peak seasons or holidays. Saturday shifts may be required to support increased business demands.
