Qualifications:

• Possess a current, valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
• Reliable personal vehicle that is well-maintained and has up-to-date insurance coverage
• Must be a minimum of 18 years old
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States
• Skill in accurately managing cash transactions and providing correct change
• Competent in using GPS, maps, or other navigation tools for following delivery directions
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs, the weight of a full insulated delivery bag
• Proven track record of strong reliability, timeliness, and a dedicated work ethic
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including peak dining times, weekends, and major holidays
• Prior professional delivery experience is helpful but not a prerequisite

Responsibilities:

• Primary duty is the secure and punctual delivery of Papa John's menu items, strategically managing local delivery routes, and accurately processing financial transactions with customers
• Act as a key component of the restaurant's operations, ensuring efficient and courteous delivery of our products
• Execute the safe, prompt delivery of Papa John's orders to various residential and business addresses
• Verify the contents of orders for accuracy and collect payments (cash or electronic) upon customer arrival
• Consistently provide exceptional customer service during every interaction
• Ensure the assigned delivery vehicle is kept clean and orderly
• Assist the in-store team with various tasks during periods without deliveries, such as folding pizza boxes, taking phone orders, or performing routine cleaning
• Strictly observe all traffic laws, road safety standards, and company safety procedures
• Maintain clear and effective communication with colleagues and shift managers
• Plan and execute delivery paths efficiently to minimize wait times and guarantee prompt service
• Contribute positively to the overall team dynamic and uphold the high standards of the Papa John's brand
• Respond to customer questions and professionally manage minor issues encountered during the delivery process
