Role and Responsibilities:

As a Back of House Manager, you will oversee the efficient operation of the kitchen and related processes, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to Chick-fil-A's standards. You will manage daily activities, supervise team members, and uphold food safety, cleanliness, and performance excellence across all operational areas.

• Manage the operational tasks of a quick-service dining facility.
• Maintain consistency in executing prescribed steps for opening and closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety standards and procedures.
• Uphold corporate standards across production, customer interactions, facility maintenance, inventory management, team leadership, hiring, and financial control.
• Ensure team members accurately follow recipes and order specifications to prepare dishes correctly.
• Monitor team performance to maintain precision in measuring and portioning recipe ingredients.
• Maintain expected service speed and productivity standards within the restaurant.
• Ensure all workstations remain clean, organized, and compliant with sanitation requirements.
• Oversee cash management and ensure compliance with company cash handling policies.
• Reinforce security measures and adherence to company procedures for handling cash transactions.
• Ensure team members consistently maintain cleanliness across the dining area, restrooms, parking lot, and overall premises.
• Address and resolve guest concerns promptly, escalating complex issues to higher management when needed.
• Provide clear direction, feedback, and coaching to team members respectfully and professionally.
• Report employee performance updates and policy violations to management for timely resolution.
• Execute additional operational duties as required during each shift.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures, and operational standards.

Job Characteristics:

• Expected work schedule ranges between 40 to 50 hours per week.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated professionalism and excellent communication skills.
• Strong leadership abilities with proven skills in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
• High customer service orientation with attention to detail and operational efficiency.
• Previous management experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is required.
• Food safety certification is preferred but not mandatory.
