Responsibilities of Restaurant Team Leader:

• Is responsible for recruiting and dismissing all non-managerial hourly staff
• Manages the onboarding, status adjustment, and payroll procedures for all hourly employees
• Develops timetables for crew members' tasks and training sessions
• Oversees the performance of all non-salaried team members, including tasks like coaching, guiding, communicating feedback, documenting progress, and other responsibilities related to managing performance
• Assumes the role of the manager overseeing operations during shifts and is responsible for both the opening and closing procedures of the restaurant
• Handles cash management and guarantees responsibility
• Transitioning into the Position
• Upholds the regulations and criteria set by Raising Cane's
• Conducts shift management meeting to uphold operational and safety protocols at Raising Cane's
• Utilizes necessary equipment, documents, and records to facilitate shift operation, record outcomes, and implement adjustments if necessary
• Assigns team members to their designated tasks throughout a work period
• Offers outstanding customer support
• Implements a system that offers rewards and acknowledgments to the staff working in the dining establishment
• Permits employees to execute tasks that necessitate managerial consent, such as discounts, promotions, and overrides on the timeclock
• Maintains the cleanliness of the restaurant while also ensuring the proper functioning of the facility
• Carries out additional tasks as required

Qualifications of Restaurant Team Leader:

• Possessing a keen eye for details, demonstrating a structured approach, and effectively handling numerous tasks that might undergo frequent alterations
• Driven by self-motivation and possessing adaptability, as well as a high level of enthusiasm coupled with excellent analytical abilities and effective written and verbal communication talents
• Capable of performing efficiently and effectively whether working alone or as part of a team
• Capable of identifying and evaluating issues, establishing objectives, developing strategies, and implementing plans to address challenges
• Skilled in multiple technology platforms such as Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and adept at swiftly acquiring proficiency in unfamiliar systems
• Capable of covering different shifts such as daytime, evening, and weekend schedules and willing to travel for work-related obligations and training if required
• Over three years of experience in managing restaurants or retail establishments
• When it comes to dining at a new restaurant, many people have a specific experience they enjoy
• Participants must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or its equivalent, with a preference for some college background
• Hold a legitimate driver's license
