PR Restaurants is seeking Maintenance Technicians to join our supportive team of hardworking café professionals at our Panera Bread locations. Panera Bread is our premier brand in Quick Casual restaurants, and PR Restaurants is the exclusive operator of Panera cafes throughout Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

Our experienced Maintenance Technicians play a vital role in our cafes' daily upkeep. In this position, you will address and troubleshoot day-to-day technical issues in our restaurants. Panera's staff seek the expertise of our Maintenance Technicians to fix essential functions; thus, we are looking for qualified candidates who can be trusted to deliver the highest quality and effort of care in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Perform facility maintenance tasks, including but not limited to cosmetic, plumbing, painting, and occasional tile work and equipment care
• Follow and uphold safety standards at all times for our associates and guests
• Maintain an open line of communication with café management
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Ability to drive and travel within assigned region (company truck provided)
• Repeated walking, bending, stretching and occasional lifting of material equipment and supplies (up to 50 pounds)

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license & driving record in good standing
• Three to five years of maintenance experience (preferred)
• General knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, basic carpentry, and light/electrical experience
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods
• Clear communication skills - must maintain clear and consistent communication with café managers, DMs, and supervisors
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule
