Qualifications

• Prior experience as a bartender or in a high-volume bar environment preferred.
• Proficiency in mixing a wide range of cocktails and beverages.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly in drink preparation and presentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests.
• Capability to handle physical demands of the job, including standing for extended periods and lifting.
• Must be able and willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• Current ABC/TIPS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently, following Outback Steakhouse recipes and standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, including glassware, garnishes, and liquor inventory.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking drink orders and making recommendations.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system and handle cash and credit card payments.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption to ensure responsible service and adherence to ABC regulations.
• Adhere strictly to all operational, safety, and sanitation standards, company policies, and federal/state/local regulations, especially those related to alcohol service.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and rotating stock to minimize waste.
• Proactively identify and address any guest concerns or issues related to bar service.
• Collaborate with servers and other team members to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations.
