Key Responsibilities of Janitor:

• Employ dishwashing machinery to clean and sterilize dishes, cups, silverware, cookware, and pans.
• Ensure that all dishware, silverware, and cooking utensils are washed, dried, and stored correctly for the convenience of guests and team members.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness in the kitchen, dining zones, restrooms, and areas not visible to customers.
• Keep the utility area clean and orderly on a daily basis.
• Routinely clean and disinfect kitchen and utility floors by sweeping and mopping.
• Ensure garbage removal and upkeep of dumpster zone and loading bay.
• Follow the schedule for deep-cleaning tasks and perform them consistently as required.
• Abide by the requirements specified by the local health department and adhere to the safety guidelines put in place by the company.
• Replenish the supply of clean dishes, silverware, and glassware at the Cook, Line, and Server stations.
• Report to the Manager right away if you notice any equipment failures or safety hazards.
• Ensure efficiency in handling high demand while also meeting cleanliness expectations.
• Uphold high standards of guest service by keeping dishes and dining spaces spotless.
• Aid the restaurant team by ensuring the on-time delivery of sanitized cutlery and dishes.
