Description:

As Bar Staff, you are a key part of our guest experience, ensuring everyone has a memorable and enjoyable time at Dave & Buster's. This role requires strong communication skills and a friendly attitude as you prepare drinks and interact directly with our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consistently provide outstanding guest service by delivering a great combination of drinks, food, and entertainment in a lively and fun atmosphere.
• Keep your supervisor informed of any issues or unusual situations and take prompt action or suggest solutions.
• Provide quick and efficient beverage service while managing guest wait times effectively and communicating necessary information to guests, fellow team members, and managers.
• Greet guests warmly and enthusiastically while handling various job duties. Smile and acknowledge guests upon arrival.
• Assist guests with their drink selections, answer questions knowledgeably, and offer recommendations.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently following established recipes and standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, ensuring all supplies are readily available.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions with accuracy and integrity.
• Verify guest identification to ensure they meet the minimum legal drinking age.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and intervene responsibly when necessary according to company policies and legal guidelines.
• Thank departing guests, ensuring their satisfaction and inviting them to return.
• Inform the Manager of any guest who appears unhappy or has a complaint.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding the responsible service of alcohol.
• Assist in stocking and maintaining bar inventory levels.
• Clean and sanitize glassware, bar tools, and work surfaces regularly.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient service throughout the venue.
• Maintain a positive and cooperative working relationship with all company team members to promote a positive and productive environment.
• Must meet the minimum legal age requirement for serving alcohol in the relevant jurisdiction.

• Lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds, such as beverage cases or trays of drinks.
• Move throughout the facility and stand for extended periods.
• Walk or stand for the duration of the shift.
• Reach, bend, stoop, and wipe down surfaces frequently.
